3D printed models produced by the VisualCAM-MESH module inside of can be used by hobbyists, product designers, engineers and even manufacturing to simulate the actual form, fit, function and assembly of a part or design.
For example, during the product design cycle of automotive windshield washer systems, designers can 3D print the CAD model of the washer reservoir, pump motor and fluid-level sensor assembly together as one unit (or separately in parts). The 3D printed assembly can then be taken directly from the printer to the mockup lab making sure it fits the allotted space within the engine compartment. Any discovered design adjustments can then be made. This eliminates costly revisions after molds are made of the prototype or production parts.
