The 3 axis Machining Region Methods are used to determine machining regions based on the part geometry and the cutting tool parameters. There are several methods for determining these regions. These created regions can be selected as machining regions for toolpath generation.

Steeps Regions  

Silhouette Regions

Valley Regions

Check Regions

Collision Regions

 

The 3 axis Machining Region Methods can be invoked by selecting 3 Axis Adv option from Program tab in Machining Browser.

User must select the cutting tool before creating a 3 axis Machining region.
