Predefined machining regions are regions defined under the Regions tab in Machining Objects Browser. Creating predefined regions allow you to reuse the same regions across other operations. For example: A set of arcs/circles can be added to a predefined curve region.
In the example below, 16 circles are added to a pre-defined Curve Region under Regions tab.

To select predefined regions, when creating a machining operation, click Pre-Defined under Machining Features/Region tab
To select predefined regions, when creating a machining operation, click Pre-Defined under Machining Features/Region tab
This displays a dialog which lists all predefined machining regions. The list would be empty if no predefined regions are defined under the Regions tab in Machining Objects browser. Now select a Region from the predefined region list and click OK. Selecting a region will include all the geometry defined under this region set and assign them as one selected machining region.
Selecting a region will include all the curves selected as regions.
