Flat Areas Selection Filter

Flat Area Region Selection FilterSelecting Flat Area Region Selection Filter displays a dialog which allows you to choose the type of boundary areas to select for flat area selection.

Selecting this option would leave outside boundaries when using Select Flat Areas.

Selecting this option would allow selection of holes within a specified diameter range when using Select Flat Areas.

In the example shown we have set minimum and maximum diameter = 0.5

PickCheck the Use Diameter Filter box to select holes within a specified diameter range.  You can enter Minimum Diameter and Maximum Diameter values.  If you select the Pick button, the diameter value of the selected feature will be entered into the field. Note: These filter settings are saved with the part file.  If your control geometry changes, you are warned to check your filter settings before proceeding.
